Lockbox devices are experiencing inconsistent connection with the Blockchain web wallet. Some functionality, such as setup, managing applications, and sending funds from the device is affected. Funds can still be received and are backed up by the 24-word recovery phrase. Updates will be communicated when the issue is resolved.
If you have a Lockbox or Ledger Nano S that you have already set up, or that you previously initialized, you will not need to go through the setup process again. Instead, once you have connected your hardware wallet to your Blockchain wallet, select your device and then choose the option “Sign In with PIN.”
Follow the steps outlined on the screen of your Blockchain wallet and enter your hardware wallet’s PIN code on your device to connect. You will need to have the Bitcoin app loaded onto your device in order to pair your hardware wallet with your Blockchain web wallet. If you do not have the app installed, you can install it from the “Pair Device” screen during your sign in process.
