Why do I need ETH to send wDGLD?

Wrapped-DGLD (wDGLD) is an ERC20 token. This means its transactions occur on the Ethereum blockchain, which requires that the sender pay a fee in ETH to ensure their transaction confirms. Learn more about ETH fees here.

You will need  ETH in order to send your wDGLD externally to a third-party exchange or platform. The amount of ETH needed will vary depending on current Ethereum network conditions, and Blockchain.com has no control over this, However, you do not need to keep an ETH balance in order to receive or to store wDLGD in your Wallet, nor do you need ETH to Swap wDGLD within your Trading Account. If you don’t have enough ETH to use your wDGLD, you can Swap for it from another cryptocurrency, receive it from another exchange or platform, or Buy it directly within your Blockchain.com Wallet.
