Why will my account not link?

When linking a bank account for Instant Transfers via Open Banking, the bank you link must have a matching legal first & last name as your Blockchain.com account.

If you receive this message, you can try a different bank. If you believe you have received this message in error, please double check your bank account’s account holder name. If the bank account holder name is correct, but you still receive this message, please contact our support team and we will be happy to assist you.

 

If you have already linked your bank account to your Blockchain.com Exchange account, you may see this message:

If so, please log into your Exchange account and link your Wallet. This will connect your bank. If any of this doesn’t look right to you, please contact us immediately.

 

Occasionally, an account may fail to link and simply need to be tried again. If you receive one of the below errors, please try linking your account again:

If you continue to receive one of the above messages after attempting to re-link your account again, please contact our support team and we will be happy to assist you.

 

If you receive a Revoked Account Access error, this typically means that you have asked your bank to stop giving account access to Blockchain.com. Please try linking your account again or changing this setting in your bank account.
