Why can't I withdraw the funds from my Instant Transfer yet?

What is the holding period?

If you recently bought crypto with funds from Instant Transfer via Open Banking, your purchase may be subject to a holding period.

During this time, you will still be able to use your recently purchased crypto to:

  • Sell your crypto into cash
  • Use the funds (whether crypto or cash) to swap within your Trading Account 
  • Hold your crypto

However, during the hold period these funds will not be available to withdraw from your cash wallet or Trading Account.

Why is there a hold period?

To protect your account and to ensure the integrity of our trading system, we may place a hold on funds leaving the platform. This hold period for funds from Instant Transfers is necessary so that funds have time to clear. Rest assured, your funds will be available for withdrawal as soon as the holding period is up!

Can I expedite my withdrawal?

At this time there is no way for you to speed up your withdrawal nor can you cut down on the holding period, but we’re always working to improve our products and provide our users with the best experience.

You will receive an email from us on completion of the holding period.
