A SEPA transfer is a reliable way to get your money from one eurozone country to another safely and cheaply. SEPA transfers are ideal for large transfers in Euros (EUR) and incur low or no fees.
How to deposit EUR via bank transfer (SEPA)
On the web
- Login to your Wallet via desktop web browser.
- Select Euro from your Wallet's dashboard.
- Next, select Deposit in the upper right corner.
- Your unique deposit details will be shown here. This is not a bank account under your name; it is a unique virtual reference.
- Use the above deposit details (the recipient, bank name, IBAN, and bank code provided by Blockchain.com) to initiate a transfer from your banking platform (website/app). You can also call or visit your bank in-person for support with bank transfers.
- That’s it, your deposit should be processed within 3 business days

On iOS/Android
- Login to your Wallet on the Blockchain.com iOS/Android app.
- Toggle from DeFi Wallet to Blockchain.com Account on the top if needed.
- On the homepage, please select Euro and then click Add Cash.
- Your unique deposit details will be shown here. This is not a bank account under your name; it is a unique virtual reference.
- Use the above deposit details (the recipient, bank name, IBAN, and bank code provided by Blockchain.com) to initiate a transfer from your banking platform (website/app). You can also call or visit your bank in-person for support with bank transfers.
- That’s it, your deposit should be processed within 3 business days.

Important notes
- SEPA transfers only process on business days, so a transfer may take up to seven calendar days if sent over a weekend or bank holiday. A transfer will normally be processed within three business days.
- Please confirm your bank supports SEPA transfers and do not send the funds via SWIFT to avoid possible loss of funds or delays.
- Make sure you are using Euros (EUR), not any other currency
- Ensure the name on your bank account matches the name on your Blockchain.com Account.
