When linking a bank account for instant transfers, the bank you link must have a matching legal first & last name as your Blockchain.com account.
If you believe you have received this message in error, please double check your bank account’s account holder name. If the bank account holder name is correct, but you still receive this message, please contact our support team and we will be happy to assist you.
We highly recommend only linking checking accounts as it's highly likely that linking a savings bank account will fail. Besides, attempting to transfer from a linked savings or money market account may result in delayed, failed, rejected, or reversed transfers, as well as possible fees and limitations imposed by your bank.
Other possible reasons
Unfortunately there can be many other reasons why bank linking is failing including security flags, insufficient funds, bank account spending limits, details mismatch or unusual activity of the bank account being used.
We cannot change the parameters of our payment infrastructure so all we can recommend is to allow some time to pass if multiple attempts have failed in a short space of time, check that your name and address details with us match your bank account being used and/or try an alternative bank or payment method.
