What do “Limited Access” and “Full Access” mean?
Limited and Full Access are the new names for our Silver and Gold account types, respectively. For increased order limits in the Blockchain.com Wallet, as well as the ability to place card orders or deposit funds from a bank account, a Verified account is required. A Verified account is also required in order to use the Blockchain.com Exchange.
As a non-US user, can I continue trading on the Blockchain.com Exchange if my account type is Limited Access?
You will only be able to trade if you verify your account. Users will need to verify their account in order to continue using our Exchange. Here's how you can verify your identity on the Exchange:
- Log in to your Blockchain.com Exchange account in a web browser or the iOS app
On the web:
- Go to Settings –– it’s the “gear” icon in the top right of your screen.
- Select Profile.
- Select Limits & Features.
- In the Limited or Full Access column, click Apply Now.
- Follow the prompts to complete your verification.
On iOS:
- Log into your Blockchain.com Exchange account
- Select Account on the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Limits & Fees
- Tap Get Verified
As a non-US user, how do I continue trading in the Blockchain.com Wallet if my account type is Limited Access?
Again, as part of our update of verification requirements, users outside the US will need to verify their account to continue buying, selling and swapping crypto in the Blockchain.com Wallet or to send funds to and from a Trading Account or Cash Account.
You can verify your identity in the Wallet by doing the following:
- Log in to your Blockchain.com Wallet.
- Go to Settings (the “user” icon in the top right of your screen).
- Under Profile, select Account Limits on mobile or Trading Limits on web.
- Select Upgrade & Unlock.
- Follow the prompts to complete your verification.
