How do I deposit GBP via Bank Transfer (Faster Payments)?

On the web

1. Login to your Wallet via desktop web browser. 
2. Select Add Cash from your Wallet's dashboard. 
3. Next, select GBP Wire Transfer in the upper right corner.
4. Your unique deposit details, including the sort code and account number will be shown here. This is not a bank account under your name; it is a unique virtual reference.
5. Use the above deposit details to initiate a transfer from your banking platform (website/app). You can also call or visit your bank in-person for support with bank transfers. 
6. That’s it! Check your email for the transfer notification in one to three days. The funds will now be available within your account.

On iOS/Android

1. Login to your Wallet on the Blockchain.com iOS/Android app.
2. Toggle from DeFi Wallet to Blockchain.com Account on the top if needed.
3. On the homepage, select Add Cash.
4. Next, select Bank Transfer in the upper right corner.
5. Your unique deposit details, including the sort code and account number will be shown here. This is not a bank account under your name; it is a unique virtual reference.
6. Use the above deposit details to initiate a transfer from your banking platform (website/app). You can also call or visit your bank in-person for support with bank transfers. 
7. That’s it! Check your email for the transfer notification in one to three days. The funds will now be available within your account.

• The deposit details you see on the screen belong to Blockchain.com. We create a virtual account on the platform for you to transfer money to your cash wallet. 
  
• The name on your verified account must match the name on your bank account exactly in order for your transfer to be successful
• To deposit GBP, use the details you see in our app to send a transfer using your online banking or mobile app.
• Transfers sent through the UK's Faster Payments Service (FPS) usually arrive within one hour but can take from 1 to three days if requested during the bank holiday, or weekend.
