Yes. When you import a wallet using your 12-word phrase, a new non-custodial Wallet account is created, but it uses the imported seed phrase instead of generating a new one.
You’ll still set a new email and password during the sign-up flow—this is just for your Blockchain.com account login. Your wallet data stays securely tied to your recovery phrase.
Please note: If you already have an existing Blockchain.com account, you must use a different email address when importing a wallet.
Each wallet is linked to a unique account and email—using the same email will result in an error or overwrite risk.
