How to open a new Blockchain.com account?

What do I need to sign up?

All you need to sign up is:

• Password
• A valid email address

And to finish Verification:

• Date of birth
• Your legal name
• Home address
• Valid government issued ID

How do I open an account?

1.  Go to https://login.blockchain.com/auth/signup and click on the Sign Up button at the top of the page.
    

2. Add your email address you wish to register your account with. The system route you to the sign in window.

   

   Note: you can't use already existing Blockchain.com email address to create a new wallet. In case you already have an account with the specific email address, you will be routed to log in instead.

    

3. Create a valid password and click Next.

5. You will receive an email from us which you can use to verify your account. Click the blue button to confirm your account creation.            

6. Once you have verified your email, please navigate to the previous tab.

Verification process

To start trading with Blockchain.com you must proceed with identity verification process. 

1. Fill out your personal information (Name, Country, Date of Birth, Residential Address). 

2. Submit the supported documents.

    

3. Next, please complete the EDD questionnaire.
4. Alternatively, you can scan the QR-code or fill in your phone number to receive a secured link to get started with identity verification process on mobile or click "Continue with your current device" to proceed on web browser. Next, just follow the steps described during the process.
5. That's it! If your submission is clear and consistent, the automated verification may take anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours. Otherwise, you might wait for the responsible team to get back to you asap.
