A contract address is a unique identifier assigned to a token’s smart contract on a blockchain. It tells you exactly which token contract you are interacting with, regardless of its name, symbol, or logo.
Because scammers can create tokens with the same or similar names as legitimate projects, checking the contract address is one of the most reliable ways to distinguish between them.
Before buying, swapping, or interacting with a token, compare its contract address with the official address published by the project and make sure it matches the correct blockchain network.
Where to find a contract address of the tokens I traded?
- Open your Wallet activity and select the transaction you want to check.
Select View on Explorer.
You’ll be redirected to the Block Explorer, where you can review the transaction details.
Find the token you received and hover over the token name. The token’s contract address will be displayed.
- Alternatively, you can also click the token to open its full details. The contract address will be shown on the right-hand side.
