Tokens aren't displayed, or not supported
If you've received tokens that aren't displayed in your DeFi Wallet, or you've sent assets to your non-custodial address using another compatible network, you can still access those funds.
You can do this by exporting the private key for your Ethereum address and importing it into another compatible wallet. Exporting your private key does not move your funds — it simply allows another wallet application to access the same address and the assets associated with it.
Private Key limitations
Please be advised that private key export functionality is only available in the web wallet and only for recovering funds on Non-custodial wallet. The same method won't work if you sent your funds to the custodial Trading Account. In that case, log in and contact our support team.
Recovering the funds with private key
This may be useful if you've received assets on networks such as:
- BNB Smart Chain (BSC)
- Polygon
- Arbitrum
- Optimism
- Base
- or any other Ethereum-compatible networks.
To export your ETH private key:
- Sign in to your Wallet using a web browser (private key export is not available in the app).
- Go to Settings > Wallets & Addresses.
- Select Ethereum (ETH). The exported private key can also be used to access assets held on other Ethereum-compatible networks.
- Read the warning message carefully.
- Click Show to view your private key.
- By importing this private key into a compatible third-party wallet, you may be able to regain access to assets that are not currently accessible or displayed in your Wallet. Please ensure that the third-party wallet supports the network and assets you are trying to access.
Important
Your private key gives complete access to your non-custodial funds.
- Never share your private key with anyone.
- Blockchain.com support will never ask for your private key.
- Anyone with access to your private key can control your crypto.
- Only use your private key with trusted wallet applications.
Private key export is available only in the web wallet.
