What Is a Multichain Deposit?
A multichain deposit lets you choose which network (blockchain) you want to use when sending a supported token into your Trading Account.
For example, instead of depositing USDC only through Ethereum Mainnet, you can also use networks like Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana, and others—depending on what’s supported for that specific token.
This helps reduce network fees, speed up transfers, and simplify moving funds from different ecosystems.
What Token + Chain Combinations Are Available?
Multichain deposits follow the same supported networks as multichain withdrawals.
USDC is available on:
- Ethereum
- Base
- Arbitrum
- Optimism
- Solana
- Polygon
USDT is available on:
- Ethereum
- Tron
- Solana
ETH is available on:
- Ethereum
- Base
- Arbitrum
- Optimism
If a token isn’t listed above, it can only be deposited through its primary chain.
How Do I Make a Multichain Deposit?
Follow these steps to deposit tokens using your preferred network:
1. Choose a supported token
Multichain deposits are currently available for ETH, USDC, and USDT only.
2. Go to the Deposit Flow
- Open the Blockchain.com App or Web
- From your Trading Account home, tap Deposit
3. Select your token
Choose the token you want to deposit (e.g., USDT).
4. Choose the network
You’ll see a list of available networks for that token.
For example:
- USDT → Ethereum, Tron, Solana
- USDC → Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Solana, etc.
Select the chain you plan to send from.
5. Copy your deposit address
A unique address for that network will be shown.
Make sure the network you choose matches the network you send from.
6. Send your funds
Go to your external wallet or exchange and send the selected token to the deposit address you copied.
7. Wait for the confirmation
Deposits appear after the required number of network confirmations.
Different networks may take different amounts of time.
