You can easily receive crypto into your Blockchain.com Account in order to sell it for cash, swap into other crypto or start earning rewards. Please follow the below steps to deposit crypto into your account:
On the web:
- Login to your Wallet via desktop web browser.
- Click Receive button in the top right corner.
- Choose the crypto you'd like to receive from the list or use the search field.
- Select the particular Blockchain.com Account (Trading Account) to which you want to receive funds to (alternatively, you can choose DeFi Wallet if you want to receive crypto into your non-custodial DeFi Wallet).
- Next, you will see your unique crypto address and a QR code. Copy the address or scan the QR code when sending crypto from another wallet, exchange etc.
- Once the transaction is confirmed on the network, your crypto will be credited to your Blockchain.com Account.
On iOS/Android:
- Login to your Wallet on the Blockchain.com iOS/Android app.
- Switch from DeFi Wallet to Blockchain.com Account if needed.
- Click Receive button and choose the crypto you'd like to receive from the list or use the search field.
- Next, you will see your unique crypto address and a QR code. Copy the address or scan the QR code when sending crypto from another wallet, exchange etc.
- Once the transaction is confirmed on the network, your crypto will be credited to your Blockchain.com Account.
Important notes:
- Verify the Address: Always double-check the address before initiating a crypto deposit. Any mistake in the address could result in irreversible loss of funds.
- Use appropriate networks, memos, and tags: When depositing cryptocurrencies, it's crucial to utilise the correct networks, memos, and tags to prevent your deposit from not being credited or being lost.
- Cryptocurrency deposit processing times: Different cryptocurrencies have varying deposit processing times, so it's essential to consider this when managing your expectations. Additionally, keep in mind that during periods of heightened network activity, like during market fluctuations, crypto transactions might encounter delays.
