If your wallet shows minor discrepancies, or you are experiencing trouble to log in, it’s usually a Cache or Cookie issue on Web. Here is the fast track to fixing it.
Incognito Mode
For a quick fix, try opening an Incognito (Private) window. This launches a fresh session that ignores your saved cache and cookies. If the website works correctly there, it’s a clear sign that you need to clear your browser data. To open one, simply use the following keyboard shortcut:
| Browser | Keyboard Shortcut (Windows/Linux) | Keyboard Shortcut (Mac) |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome, Edge, Brave | Ctrl + Shift + N | Cmd + Shift + N |
| Firefox | Ctrl + Shift + P | Cmd + Shift + P |
| Safari | N/A | Cmd + Shift + N |
Clear Cache & Cookies
Use this to fix persistent errors. Warning: This will log you out of most websites.
The Universal Shortcut: Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac) while your browser is open to jump straight to the settings.
Google Chrome
Click the three dots/lines (top right) > Settings.
Go to Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.
Select "All time" as the time range.
Check Cookies and Cached images/files.
Click Clear data.
Other Browsers
We’ve found that Google Chrome works best with our platform's settings. However, if you're using a different browser, you can follow these simple steps to clear your history and keep things running smoothly.
Mozilla Firefox
Click the three lines > Settings > Privacy & Security.
Scroll to Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data...
Ensure both boxes are checked and hit Clear.
Safari (Mac)
Click Safari in the top menu bar > Settings > Privacy.
Click Manage Website Data... > Remove All.
To clear cache only: Enable the Develop menu in Settings (Advanced tab), then click Develop > Empty Caches.
