To change your email address or phone number, you must be able to log in to your account using your password. Additionally, updating your phone number requires that your account is verified.
Logging in without your password limits the account settings and security options available to you:

Phone number change
- If you have access to your account, go to:
- Web Wallet > Settings (A person icon ) > Preferences > Mobile Number
- App > Settings (A person icon ) > Select your name (Profile) > Phone number
If you can’t access your account because 2FA SMS isn’t arriving:
- Use your mnemonic recovery phrase to access your wallet
- make sure you have access to your linked email address

Email change
To update your email address:
- If you have access to your account, go to
- Web Wallet > Settings (A person icon ) > Preferences > Email Address
- App > Settings (A person icon ) > Select your name (Profile) > Email

Lost access to my verified email address
If you can’t access your account bacause you do not have your verified email address anymore, you will need to reach out to the Support Team at Blockchain.com via this form to change your email address. We will require to submit supporting documents to verify the new information. This process is in place to ensure the security and accuracy of your account information.
Name / surname change
To change your personal details, such as name/surname, or address you will need to reach out to the Support Team at Blockchain.com via chat.
They will require to submit supporting documents to verify the new information, such as:
- Name cahnge confirmation
- Divorce, or Mariange certificate
- Other confirmations.
