Before trading Prediction Markets, you need to deposit funds.
At launch, deposits are only available from your DeFi Wallet.
Trading Account, BCPay, Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and direct funding methods are coming soon.
Deposit from your DeFi Wallet
To deposit:
- Open the Predictions tab top navigation of the Blockchain app
- Tap Deposit
- Choose the asset and amount you want to deposit
- Confirm the transaction
Your funds will be credited to the Prediction Markets account. Depending on the selected asset the transaction could take more or less time to be completed.
Why is DeFi Wallet the only deposit method?
Prediction Markets are currently integrated through the DeFi Wallet experience.
This means deposits and withdrawals are supported through your DeFi Wallet only.
Additional funding methods are planned for a future release.
Are Trading Account deposits supported?
Not yet.
Deposits from your Trading Account are coming soon.
Are BCPay, Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay deposits supported?

Do I need to pay network fees?
You may need to pay network fees when moving funds from your DeFi Wallet.
Network fees are paid to the blockchain network and are not charged by Blockchain.
The fee amount may vary depending on the network, token, and current network conditions.
