How do I deposit USD via Wire Transfer?

Note: Verified Blockchain.com Wallet users in supported US states can now buy with Easy Bank Transfers (ACH), which are typically quicker and more cost-effective than bank wires.

How to deposit USD via wire transfer

On the web

1. Login to your Wallet via desktop web browser. 
2. Select US Dollars from your Wallet's dashboard. 
3. Next, select Deposit in the upper right corner.
4. Click the box that says Add a Bank Account.

Note: Please be sure that your bank does not send this as an ACH transfer. ACH transfers sent to the wire transfer details in your wallet will be rejected and returned to your account. If you wish to make an ACH transfer, please see these instructions.

1. Enter the deposit details from your Wallet into your banking platform and initiate a wire transfer.You can also call or visit your bank in-person for support with wire transfers. 

The following is an EXAMPLE. Do NOT enter these details. If you are still having issues please contact your bank directly for assistance.

On iOS

1. Login to your Wallet on the Blockchain.com iOS app.

2. Toggle from Private Key Wallet to Accounts if needed

3. On the homepage, please select US Dollar then Deposit.
4. Next, an Add a Bank Account tab will appear, select Wire Transfer.
5. Your unique deposit details will be shown here. This is not a bank account under your name; it is a unique virtual reference.
6. On the deposit screen you will be shown detailed wiring instructions including your unique reference number, the account number, and the routing number. For banks inside the US, select Domestic; for banks outside the US, select International.
7. Enter the deposit details from your Wallet into your banking platform and initiate a wire transfer. You can also call or visit your bank in-person for support with wire transfers.

On Android

1. Login to your Wallet on the Blockchain.com Android app.

2. Toggle from Private Key Wallet to Accounts if needed

3. On the homepage, please select US Dollar then Deposit.
4. Next, an Add USD tab will appear, click the box that says Add a Bank Account. Note, a previous linked bank account may be shown here. 
5. The Linked Banks tab will follow, select Wire Transfer.
6. Your unique deposit details will be shown here. This is not a bank account under your name; it is a unique virtual reference.
7. On the deposit screen you will be shown detailed wiring instructions including your unique reference number, the account number, and the routing number. For banks inside the US, select Domestic; for banks outside the US, select International.
8. Enter the deposit details from your Wallet into your banking platform and initiate a wire transfer. You can also call or visit your bank in-person for support with wire transfers.

Additional notes

• Wires being sent from outside of the US typically take two business days to process. Domestic US wires generally take one business day to be reflected in your account. If you have not received the funds after three business days, please reach out to our Support team here.
• The minimum USD wire withdrawal is currently $2,500. There is a withdrawal fee of $25 for Domestic transfers, and a withdrawal fee of $30 for International transfers. We do not charge a deposit fee. Your bank may charge a fee for your transfer.
• Ensure the transaction is a wire transfer. ACH transfers sent to the wire transfer details in your wallet will be rejected and returned to your account.
• Only verified Wallet users in a supported region are eligible to deposit USD into their accounts. If you have not applied for verification, please use this guide to help you through our verification process. 
• The name on your verified account must match the name on your bank account exactly in order for your wire to be successful. Please include your unique reference number with your wire. Without it, the wire transfer could fail.
• We generally do not accept deposits from third-party payment processors.
