Can I still log in after deleting my account?
No. Once your account is deleted, it can no longer be accessed on the Blockchain.com platform.
This applies to both:
- your Trading Account
- your non-custodial DeFi Wallet within the Blockchain.com app
After deletion, authorization emails will no longer allow access to the wallet through our platform.
What happens to my DeFi Wallet after account deletion?
When your account is deleted, the wallet is no longer usable through Blockchain.com because deletion affects the technical access to that wallet on our platform.
This means you will not be able to reopen or continue using that wallet in Blockchain.com after deletion.
What if I still have funds in my DeFi Wallet?
Your funds are not lost, but you will need your recovery phrase to access them again.
To regain access, you must:
- make sure you have safely saved your recovery phrase,
- import that recovery phrase into a compatible third-party wallet.
- Before you exporting your seed phrase, it's the best to contact the third party and clarify the correct innstructions for that specific platform.
If you do not have your recovery phrase saved, you may not be able to recover access to those funds.
Can Blockchain.com restore access to a deleted wallet?
No. Once the account is deleted, the wallet cannot be restored or used again through Blockchain.com.
Before deleting your account, make sure your recovery phrase is saved securely if you still need access to your DeFi Wallet funds.
Can I create a new account with Blockchain.com later?
Yes, absolutely.
