What is the Perpetuals Trading Competition?
Trade perpetual contracts during the promotion period for a chance to win a share of the $10,000 prize pool.
The top 10 eligible traders ranked by trading volume will receive prizes paid in ETH.
When does the promotion run?
The competition starts on:
June 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM UTC
and ends on:
July 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM UTC
Only trades executed during this period count toward the competition.
Who can participate?
You can participate if:
- You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country).
- You have a Blockchain.com account that is eligible for perpetuals trading.
- Perpetual trading is available and lawful in your jurisdiction.
Employees of Blockchain.com and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
How do I enter?
Simply place perpetual trades in the Blockchain.com wallet during the promotion period.
What counts as a qualifying trade?
A qualifying trade is:
- A perpetual trade with a notional value of at least $10 USD.
- Executed during the promotion period.
Both long and short positions count.
Liquidated positions also count toward your trading volume.
Closing trades are not counted separately.
Is there a minimum activity requirement?
Yes.
To qualify for a prize, you must execute at least:
- One qualifying trade,
- On at least three different calendar days (UTC),
- During the promotion period.
If you do not meet this requirement, you won't be eligible for a prize, regardless of your trading volume.
How is the leaderboard calculated?
The leaderboard is based solely on your total trading volume during the promotion.
Trading volume is calculated using the notional value of your qualifying trades:
Position Size × Fill Price (USD)
The top 10 eligible participants by trading volume will win prizes.
What happens if there is a tie?
If two or more participants have the same trading volume, the participant who reached that volume first will rank higher.
What are the prizes?
The total prize pool is $10,000 USD, paid in ETH.

How will prizes be paid?
Prizes will be paid in ETH on the Ethereum network.
The ETH amount will be calculated using the ETH/USD exchange rate at the time of payout.
Prizes are expected to be distributed within 14 days after winners have been verified.
How will I know if I've won?
Potential winners will be contacted through the email address or communication channel associated with their Blockchain.com account within 7 days after the competition ends.
Blockchain.com may also announce winners publicly.
Will I need to verify my identity?
Yes.
Winners may be asked to provide:
- Proof of identity
- Proof of residence
- Confirmation of their Ethereum wallet address
If a winner does not complete the verification process, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible participant.
Can I use bots or automated trading strategies?
No.
The following activities are prohibited:
- Wash trading
- Self-dealing
- Artificially inflating trading volume
- Automated or manipulative trading activity
Blockchain.com reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate these rules.
What are the risks of trading perpetuals?
Perpetual contracts are complex and high-risk products.
You may lose some or all of your funds when trading perpetuals.

Do I have to pay taxes on my prize?
You may have tax obligations depending on your country of residence.
Participants are solely responsible for determining and paying any applicable taxes.
Can Blockchain.com change or cancel the promotion?
Yes.
Blockchain.com reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion if necessary, including due to technical issues, market disruptions, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond its control.
