These Promotion Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern participation in the Blockchain.com Nigeria Weekly Prize Draw promotion (the “Promotion”) organized by BC Access (Nigeria) Limited (“Blockchain.com” or the “Sponsor”) and made available to eligible Blockchain.com users in Nigeria.
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, THE BLOCKCHAIN.COM USER AGREEMENT, AND ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OF NIGERIA.
1. Eligibility. This Promotion is open to individuals who:
- Are legal residents of Nigeria, physically located in Nigeria at the time of participation;
- Are 18 years of age or older;
- Have completed identity verification (KYC) through a verified Blockchain.com Trading Account;
- Hold a verified Blockchain.com Trading Account in good standing;
- Have the latest version of the Blockchain.com app; and
- Have opted into the Promotion through the Blockchain.com application prior to the applicable weekly draw.
Excluded Persons: Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Blockchain.com, its affiliates, agencies, and immediate family members of those individuals are not eligible to participate.
2. Promotional Period. The Promotion will commence on 15/6/2026 at 00:00 UTC and will continue until terminated by Blockchain.com (the “Promotional Period”).
Each weekly draw shall operate independently. Entry accumulation for a particular weekly draw shall begin immediately following the completion of the preceding weekly draw and shall end at 23:59 UTC on the applicable Sunday preceding the draw date.
Blockchain.com’s internal systems shall serve as the official timekeeping mechanism for all aspects of the Promotion.
Blockchain.com reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, supplement or terminate the Promotion, any draw, any prize structure, or these Terms at any time, subject to applicable law. Any updates will be published at: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/sections/17113468852764-Promotions and shall become effective upon publication.
3. How to Participate. Eligible users may earn entries through qualifying trading activity conducted through their Blockchain.com Trading Account.
For purposes of this Promotion:
• Every USD $10 equivalent traded earns one (1) entry;
• A maximum of twenty (20) entries may be earned per user per weekly draw period;
• Buy transactions, sell transactions and crypto-to-crypto swaps are eligible transactions.
Trade values shall be calculated using the USD equivalent value determined by Blockchain.com at the time of execution.
For purposes of entry calculation:
• Buy transactions: USD value of the crypto asset purchased;
• Sell transactions: USD value of the crypto asset sold;
• Swaps: USD value of the crypto asset sent in the transaction.
For swaps, only the sending asset shall be counted for entry purposes. The receiving asset shall not generate additional entries.
Entry calculations are cumulative throughout the applicable weekly draw period. Amounts below the USD $10 threshold may carry forward and be aggregated with subsequent qualifying transactions completed during the same weekly draw period. Any remaining amount below USD $10 at the end of the weekly draw period shall expire and shall not carry forward to subsequent weeks.
Any remaining amount below USD $10 shall carry forward within the applicable weekly draw period and expire at the end of such draw period.
Entries have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be sold, assigned, exchanged or otherwise transferred. Blockchain.com reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a transaction qualifies for entry generation.
4. Prize Draw Mechanics and Rewards. Each weekly draw shall consist of a single entry pool. The following prizes shall be available for each weekly draw:
Grand Prize:
• One (1) winner shall receive USDT equivalent to USD $1,000.
Runner-Up Prizes:
• Five (5) winners shall each receive USDT equivalent to USD $200.
The total prize pool for each weekly draw is USD $2,000 in USDT.
The draw shall be conducted using the RANDOM.ORG Third-Party Draw Service or another substantially equivalent independent randomization service selected by Blockchain.com.
All winners shall be selected randomly from the eligible entry pool.
Following selection of a winner, the winning entry shall be removed from the entry pool before the next winner is selected. Accordingly, no participant may win more than one prize in the same weekly draw.
Participants may view their current entry count through the Quest page in the Blockchain.com application or by contacting Blockchain.com Support.
Winners will generally be announced on the Monday following the applicable weekly draw period. Subject to successful completion of all compliance and verification checks, prizes will generally be credited within seven (7) days following winner confirmation.
The draw process will function as follows: The draw shall be conducted each Monday using the RANDOM.ORG Third-Party Draw Service. The service generates a timestamped and signed certificate containing a permanent public URL evidencing the draw.
Blockchain.com shall not participate in the random selection process and winner selection shall occur independently through the third-party service.
5. Verification, Eligibility & Reward Conditions. Participation is subject to verification and compliance review. Blockchain.com may require any participant to provide documentation or information necessary to verify eligibility, identity, age, residency, source of funds, or compliance with applicable laws.
Participation is subject to the following conditions:
Participants must comply with the Blockchain.com User Agreement and provide documentation to verify eligibility.
Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
Blockchain.com may withhold, cancel, or reclaim rewards in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.
This Promotion is not a sweepstakes, lottery, or game of chance. All rewards are deterministic based on defined conditions and available budget.
Participants are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes under Nigerian tax laws.
Eligibility is not considered final until all requested documentation has been received and reviewed to Blockchain.com’s satisfaction. Blockchain.com may withhold, delay, deny, cancel, reclaim or reverse any prize where:
The participant fails verification;
The participant breaches these Terms;
The participant breaches the Blockchain.com User Agreement;
Fraud, abuse, manipulation or suspicious activity is identified;
The participant becomes subject to sanctions, AML, compliance or regulatory restrictions; or
Blockchain.com reasonably determines that the participant is not eligible.

6. Fraud, Abuse and Compliance Controls. Blockchain.com reserves the right to void entries, disqualify participants, deny prizes or cancel a draw where it reasonably suspects:
• Wash trading;
• Artificial volume generation;
• Self-dealing transactions;
• Manipulative trading behaviour;
• Multiple accounts controlled by the same individual;
• Multiple accounts accessed from the same device;
• Device-sharing arrangements intended to circumvent these Terms;
• Use of bots, scripts, automation tools or similar technologies;
• False, misleading or incomplete information;
• Attempts to circumvent geographic restrictions;
• Any activity designed primarily to obtain entries rather than engage in bona fide trading activity.
Entries associated with transactions flagged by Blockchain.com’s compliance, AML, sanctions, fraud detection or risk management systems may be deemed invalid and automatically excluded from the Promotion. Blockchain.com shall have no obligation to disclose the specific basis for any compliance-related disqualification.
7. Edge Cases and Special Circumstances
If no eligible entries are received during a weekly draw period, the applicable draw may be cancelled and the corresponding prize pool may be rolled over to a subsequent draw.
If fewer than six (6) eligible participants exist for a draw, Blockchain.com may award prizes only to the available eligible participants and roll over any remaining prize value to a future draw.
If a winner’s account is suspended, restricted, under investigation, or otherwise unable to receive the prize at the time of selection, Blockchain.com may hold the prize in escrow for up to thirty (30) days pending resolution.
If a winner remains ineligible after such period, Blockchain.com may cancel the prize or reallocate it at its discretion.
If RANDOM.ORG becomes temporarily unavailable, Blockchain.com may delay the draw for a reasonable period in order to complete the draw using the same independent service.
If the same transaction is processed more than once due to technical error, only one entry shall be generated. Blockchain.com may rely on unique transaction identifiers to prevent duplicate entries.
8. Public Announcement and Recordkeeping
Blockchain.com might publish the following information following each draw:
• Total number of entries;
• Total number of participants;
• RANDOM.ORG certificate or verification link;
• Anonymized winner identifiers.
Blockchain.com may retain records relating to the Promotion, including entry logs, draw records, compliance records and payout records, for a minimum period of five (5) years or such longer period as required by applicable law.
9. Responsible Trading Disclaimer
The Promotion is intended solely as a marketing campaign. Nothing contained in the Promotion, any communication relating to the Promotion, or any prize awarded under the Promotion constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any crypto asset.
Participants should carefully evaluate the risks associated with trading crypto assets.
10. Liability Release and Indemnity. THE PROMOTION AND ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOCKCHAIN.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PROMOTION.
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blockchain.com and its affiliates from any claims arising out of participation in the Promotion.
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Blockchain.com and each of the foregoing entities’ respective parent and affiliate companies, vendors, suppliers, agencies, consultants, subcontractors and legal counsel and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such individual (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any claims, damages, injuries or losses of any kind, and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding arising out of, in connection with or relating to, (i) participation in Promotions, (ii) personal injury or property damage arising directly or indirectly from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the Reward, (iii) defamation or portrayal in a false light (intentional and unintentional), violation of publicity rights or invasion of privacy in connection with the Promotion or acceptance and use of the Reward, and (iv) any violation of third party intellectual property or other proprietary rights arising from or related to the Promotion or Blockchain.com’s advertising and marketing related to the Promotion, any entrants, in all cases. You assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by your participation in the Promotion, or the use of the Reward. You further agree that in any cause of action, Blockchain.com’s and/or the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the value of the Reward, and in no event shall Blockchain.com be liable for attorney’s fees. The foregoing is only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. General Terms. Blockchain.com is not responsible if the Promotion cannot take place, or if the Reward cannot be awarded due to delays, interruptions or failures due to acts of God, war, natural disasters, weather, acts or threats of terrorism, strikes, lockouts, labor disputes, work stoppages, fire, acts of government or other events outside of the reasonable control of Blockchain.com. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, Blockchain.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part. If the Promotion in whole or in part is terminated or modified prior to the closing of the Promotional Period, notice will be communicated by Blockchain.com. Blockchain.com reserves the right to modify and amend these Terms from time to time during the Promotional Period for clarification purposes. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Blockchain.com’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms. Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of these Terms or any provision hereof. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion materials, Blockchain.com’s User Agreement or Privacy Notice and/or these Terms, these Terms shall prevail. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. These Terms and the Promotion in general shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Nigerian law, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules.
12. Privacy. All information submitted by you that is collected by Blockchain.com in connection with your participation in the Promotion will be subject to Blockchain.com’s User Agreement and its Privacy Policy. By participating in the Promotion, you hereby agree that Blockchain.com may collect and use your personal information submitted in connection therewith, and you acknowledge that you have read Blockchain.com’s Privacy Policy.
13. Binding Arbitration. Except where prohibited by law, you agree that (1) ANY DISPUTE, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PROMOTION SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION, (2) any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the Promotion shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA) (3) any arbitration shall be heard by one (1) arbitrator to be selected in accordance with the LCA Rules, in Lagos, Nigeria, (4) unless both you and Blockchain.com agree in writing, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of class or representative proceeding, (5) judgment upon any award rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof and (6) any award or judgment shall be subject to all limitations and releases set forth in these Terms and be limited to actual out of pocket damages, and shall not, in any event, include any punitive, exemplary, consequential or incidental damages, attorney’s fees or costs of bringing a claim, or any injunctive or other equitable relief. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Nothing in this clause shall prevent Nigerian residents from exercising any mandatory rights they may have under Nigerian law, including applicable consumer rights.
